In this privacy policy, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the Site, or otherwise contact us.

Not everyone in our records came to us first. We also identify businesses that may be a good fit for what we do, and creators who may suit a client campaign, and we get in touch. If that is how you first heard from us, this is the section that applies to you.
For a business we approach, we keep a record of a named contact, their work email address, their company, and the public evidence that suggested the fit. For a creator, we keep the public details of the account, such as the handle, the name, and follower counts. We take all of this from public or professional sources. We do not buy lists.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in business-to-business outreach. We have weighed that against the plain fact that you did not ask to hear from us, which is why we keep the record small, take it only from public sources, and stop the moment you tell us to.
You can object at any time, and for direct marketing that is an absolute right, not a request we can weigh up. Email jove@maukaone.com and we will remove you. You do not need to give a reason.
These records are also deleted on a timer. Prospects are kept for 18 months, unreviewed prospect candidates for 12 months, and creator records for 12 months. After that they are deleted automatically.
For active clients, we keep an internal working record of the context needed to run the account: decisions, preferences, and what was agreed. It is confidential to Mauka One and used only to serve that account. You can ask what we hold, or ask us to remove it, at any time.
